  • blackPREP FFPE DNA Kit

    The blackPREP FFPE DNA Kit has been designed as a very efficient tool for fast isolation of genomic DNA from FFPE samples for subsequent purposes. The kit can be used with different amounts of FFPE tissue samples / sections, up to a maximum of 50 mg. The extraction procedure is based on a new patented chemistry and combines lysis of FFPE tissue samples with subsequent binding of nucleic acids onto the surface of a spin filter membrane. Thereby the optimized procedure renders an extra step of deparaffinization and the usage of toxic solvents (e.g. xyolol or octane) unnecessary. After several washing steps the nucleic acids are eluted from the membrane by using elution buffer.   • blackPREP Tick DNA/RNA Kit

    The blackPREP Tick DNA/RNA Kit allows researchers to simultaneously isolate DNA and RNA from ticks. This is of particular interest when testing ticks for RNA viruses (such as TBE or FSME) in addition to bacterial pathogens. The kit contains application-specific Lysis Tubes, including beads that have been optimized (in terms of their characteristics and quantity) specifically for homogenizing ticks. Following a subsequent lysis process, the DNA is bound to one filter membrane and the RNA is bound to another. The nucleic acids are then washed and eluted into separate reaction vessels.     The innuPREP Plant DNA Kit has been specially developed for quickly and easily isolating DNA from an extremely wide variety of plant starting materials (such as leaves, stems, roots, flowers, etc.).     The innuPREP Bacteria DNA Kit has been designed for isolation of DNA from Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria cells derived from liquid cultures. The extraction procedure starts with centrifugation of bacterial cultures and a subsequent pre-lysis step.     Using the innuPREP Micro RNA Kit allows researchers to isolate small RNA molecules and achieve high yields. The new, optimized binding buffer system makes it possible to achieve high rates of recovery for small RNA molecules such as mRNA, tRNA, rRNA and snRNA. The first step utilizes well-established spin-filter-column-technology to selectively remove genomic DNA; the RNA is then bound, washed and finally removed from the filter membrane using RNase-free water.     The innuPREP RNA Mini Kit 2.0 is the all-rounder for the extraction of total RNA. The specially optimized lysis buffer system guarantees the isolation of intact RNA and sustainably inactivates endogenous and exogenous RNases. Genomic DNA is removed via an optimized precolumn included in the kit. Accordingly, the otherwise necessary DNase I digestion can be completely omitted. Subsequently, the RNA is bound to a second Spin Filter membrane, washed and finally eluted in 30 - 80 μl RNase-free water. Thus, depending on the starting material, the extraction process can be completed in as little as 15 - 40 minutes.   • innuPREP FFPE total RNA Kit

    The innuPREP FFPE total RNA Kit allows the extraction of total RNA with an excellent recovery of microRNAs from FFPE (formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded) tissue samples. The kit is suitable for starting amounts of up to 50 mg. Based on a new kind of chemistry the kit enables the isolation of RNA from FFPE samples without a deparaffinization step and thereby eliminates the use of toxic and hazardous components like octane or xylene.   • innuPREP PCRpure Kit

    The innuPREP PCRpure Kit provides an extremely fast, simple and highly efficient method for purifying amplification products directly from PCR reaction mixtures, sequencing reaction mixtures and/or for concentrating PCR products. Purification is based on a two-step method and takes only approx. 3 minutes to complete. The need for wash steps is eliminated, thereby reducing the overall process to binding and elution. The process makes it possible to recover amplification products ranging in size from 60 bp to 30 kb with recovery rates of 60 % to 95 % depending on the length of the amplification product.   • innuPREP Plasmid Mini Kit 2.0

    The innuPREP Plasmid Mini Kit 2.0 allows the fast and easy isolation of plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures. To gain an optimal result, protocol steps as well as the chemistry and spin filters were improved in comparison to the precursor products innuPREP Plasmid Mini Kit and innuPREP Plasmid Mini Kit Plus. The process is based on the combination of an alkaline lysis and binding of the plasmid DNA to a filter membrane after precipitation of the chromosomal DNA and bacterial proteins. Bound plasmid DNA is then washed and finally eluted by using a low-molar buffer. The isolated plasmid DNA can be used for a number of sensitive downstream applications, like transfection, cloning, PCR or sequencing. The new procedure also allows for processing of 0.5 ml to 15 ml of bacterial cultures using a table-top centrifuge (after lysis). Due to the new filter membrane up to 80 µg pDNA can be isolated from one sample.

    The innuSOLV RNA Reagent is a solution for efficiently isolating total RNA from various quantities of different starting materials (such as tissue samples, cells, bacterial cells, plants, etc.). The extraction method is based on a single-step, liquid-phase separation that saves a significant amount of time. The innuSOLV RNA Reagent contains a mixture of phenol and guanidine isothiocyanate in a monophasic solution.
