  • innuPREP AniPath DNA/RNA 2.0 Kit-KFFLX

    The processing of diverse starting materials with only one universal extraction kit offers enormous flexibility and is of special interest in veterinary diagnostics. The innuPREP AniPath DNA/RNA Kit 2.0 – KFFLX is optimized for the automated extraction of pathogen DNA and RNA using the KingFisher FLEX system (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and can handle most kinds of starting material: cell-free body fluids such as serum and plasma, whole blood, nasopharyngeal swabs, tissue and fecal samples. Up to 96 samples can be purified simultanously within 60 min. Thanks to the innovative extraction chemistry developed and patented by IST Innuscreen, nucleic acid binding to magnetic particles happens in presence of low salt concentrations and the extraction process results in best yields of pure DNA/RNA.

    Nucleic acids finally eluted into the 96-well plate are ready to use for following downstream application such as real-time PCR. The included Carrier Mix composed of Carrier RNA, Internal Control DNA (IC DNA) and RNA (IC RNA) serves as extraction control.

    Kit components are limited to reagents required for nucleic acid extraction. Corresponding plastics such as KingFisher FLEX 96 tip combs, deep well plates and elution plates need to be ordered separately via KF FLX Plate Set (845-KF-1296010).

    The innuPREP RNA Virus PLUS Kit - KFFLX can be used to automate extraction of viral RNA from up to 96 samples in just approx. 45 minutes. The method is based on magnetic particle separation and on the use of patented extraction chemistry in the KingFisher FLEX system. It can be used for isolating from a wide variety of starting materials, such as cell-free bodily fluids, biopsies, swabs and stool samples. The isolated viral nucleic acids are then available for immediate use in downstream applications. The high quality of the RNA has been successfully tested and confirmed using the TaqMan real-time PCR (after cDNA synthesis).

    The innuPREP Blood DNA Kit KFFLX is an optimized extraction kit for isolating DNA from 200 µl whole blood samples. Using the KingFisher FLEX processor allows researchers to extract nucleic acids from up to 96 samples in parallel within a very short period of time. Fully automated lysis is followed by a second subprotocol for automated binding, washing and final elution of the DNA in a 96-well plate. Nucleic acids are available for downstream applications within just approx. 50 minutes

Magnetic particle separation technology makes it possible to process up to 15 samples quickly and in parallel. The kit has been adapted to work with a large number of different starting materials. The viral RNA eluted in the final step is ready for use and can easily be introduced into downstream applications such as real-time PCR. The kit contains all of the reagents and consumables needed for fast, uncomplicated RNA purification.

    The innuPREP Virus DNA/RNA Kit- KFml is an extraction system for isolating viral DNA and RNA simultaneously. The kit is suitable for use with an extremely wide variety of starting materials. Binding nucleic acids to magnetic particles forms the basis for the automated routine, along with the use of the KingFisher ml processor.
