The innuPREP Sewage Water DNA/RNA Kit has been designed for the isolation of DNA and RNA from sewage water samples.
The kit allows the isolation of DNA/RNA from viruses, bacteriophages and free-circulating DNA/RNA (e.g. plasmid-associated DNA coding for bacterial resistances) from sewage water sediment as well as from the cleared supernatant after spinning down the sediment.
The innuPREP TCT Sewage Water Viral DNA/RNA Extraction Kit has been designed especially for the extraction of DNA and RNA from viruses, bacteriophages or free circulating nucleic acids. Sewage water of different volumes (100 ml - 500 ml) can be used. The kit is based on a novel and patent-pending technology that allows biomolecules (cells, bacteria, viruses, bacteriophages, algae, free nucleic acids, proteins) contained in liquid samples to be concentrated and then made available for various other analysis methods. No filtration, ultrafiltration, ultracentrifugation or PEG precipitation is required.
The PME Sewage Water Enrichment Tool is based on a new technology, called: PME – Polymer Mediated Enrichment. The procedure starts with capturing of cells and cell-free DNA from a large amount of liquid sample by a special polymer.
